He offered me a number of choices, suggesting I research on my own what the company culture was like to see if I would like it.

He also offered what he had heard about each. He wasn't looking to get me a job; he was looking for a long-term fit. Most recruiters aren't this way. The best are, but this is what makes them the best. Even after working for Cummings Electrical for a couple months he kept checking in, making sure I was still happy. I was. Being happy I can't say with certainty, but I feel he would have looked for another opportunity where I would be.

He also ensured I was notified if Cummings Electrical wanted anything from me to keep the process moving making sure I'd seen emails, or copied on them if I wasn't. This provided me the opportunity to keep moving forward rapidly, making sure nothing was missed.
